02 What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the inquiry form on our website, we collect the information you enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number
- The content of your message
We also receive personal data when you contact us directly by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, our server records the IP address the submission came from and the time it was received. This is included in the notification we receive and is used to investigate spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs of requests made to the site.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not profile visitors and we do not track you across other websites. The only third-party requests your browser makes are to Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your contact details for marketing unrelated to your inquiry without asking you first.
04 Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with organisations that are bound to protect it:
- Eurofins laboratories — where your inquiry concerns testing services, we share the details needed to arrange and coordinate that testing.
- Service providers — the hosting, website and email providers we use, who process data on our instructions.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required to do so by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
05 International transfers
Some of the service providers we rely on are based outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards and data processing terms to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection.
06 How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain a record of our dealings with you — ordinarily no more than 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case records are retained for the period required by applicable commercial and tax law. Spam-prevention logs containing IP addresses are kept for a short period only.
07 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete data we no longer have a valid reason to keep
- Restrict or object to how we use your data
- Transfer your data to another organisation where technically feasible
- Withdraw consent, where our use of your data relies on consent
To exercise any of these, email operations@scispecllc.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office or, where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, with your local supervisory authority.
08 Security
Our website is served over HTTPS, and inquiry data is transmitted encrypted in transit. Access to our inbox and to the systems listed above is limited to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we take appropriate technical and organisational measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send confidential test results, commercially sensitive documents or identification documents through the website form. We will arrange a secure channel where that is needed.
09 Children
Our services are directed at businesses and laboratories. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
